However, ip link set adapter up doesn't set the adapter up, though the command doesn't produce any error. I was able to install those and the device shows up in ip link and in network manager. The Linux Drivers that came with it wouldn't compile, but there are drivers for it in AUR. I recently picked up and ANEWISH AC600 usb wireless adapter.
